Introduction to Visible Mending

Do you have any clothing with holes or stains that you’d like to mend? Join Mariko Sugimori of Mona & Zoe Mending for an introduction to visible mending where you’ll learn creative techniques—including felting and darning—to give your clothing a new life! No prior sewing experience required.

People of all skill levels are welcome to this course. All the mending supplies you need to get started will be provided. You are also welcome to bring any items of clothing that are in need of mending, but that’s not required. The hope is that after this class, you can take these newly acquired skills to curate a more sustainable wardrobe by increasing the life of your clothing and keeping it out of the landfill.
